I love that cap and would have picked it up myself but I had another big purchase just before that. It makes for an awesome display with your tunic.

Re: Salty and faded Alter Art Infantry Crusher

Very nice used cap Chris and what a perfect colour match with the tropical tunic, I love it - Fantastic!
Nice to see this type of display too as many collectors always have an M40 cap or helmet with their tropical displays. But you do see officers
wearing their continental crusher caps in period photos so well done, nice to see.

tongue

Thanks
Stu

It's all good and well to sing along when the world goes along with a song, but the man
worth while is the one who can smile when everything goes dead wrong.

Re: Salty and faded Alter Art Infantry Crusher

This piece of iron is behind the crown, probably for holding the cap on shape but it's sharp and destroys the interior. Any ideas? Shall i stick something soft on the edge?

I thought your sw was a typo for "se" but now i understand that you mean the sweatband right?

Sw=sweatband. Correct? big_smile

Thanks Nick. Why not. If you ever visit you will have the chance to see it in person.
