WW1 US L.F. & C. Fighting Knife

Thought I would bring out this interesting item-a Landers, Frary & Clark knuckle type fighting knife. I just wish I had scabbard for it. This variety seems to have only been manufactured in 1917 but was used into WWII. Hope you will enjoy! Barron cool

Thank you guys for looking! Yes, definitely a weapon only made for killing people. Part of why they are hard to find. They were phased out in WW2 because of the fact they were only useful for certain technics of fighting while the new K-Bars and M-3s were dual purpose knives-utility  and fighting! smile  Barron
