A new addition to the collection that i purchased recently.
Long sleeved Tropical Luftwaffe shirt, i have just used the shoulder boards from my short sleeved Luftwaffe shirt
that i have already posted, just until i can find another pair.
The shirt is the type that would have had the collar stiffeners but these have been removed at some stage.
It is in used condition with a few field repairs, original owner has cut off the bottom part of the material loop
on the inside under the shoulder board to repair the holes.
The breast eagle has been removed but you can see where it has been, so i also need to find another eagle to re-apply.
If i can find a pair of original trousers i will do an 88 gunner as shown in first photo. The trousers on the mannequin are only repro at this stage.
Enjoy!

neat shirt Stu. I always seem to see unissued ones. I like this one that looks like it was there. It should not be too hard to find a triangular Luft shirt eagle but to find one that matches is always the catch. Can you see the fade or imprint, stitchholes where it was? I can't in the photo. Maybe never had one? Is that luft em buckle painted white or oxidized? Never seen on like that before. Neat. The setup looks great on the mannequin with the camo helmet. Like to see more closeups and story on your helmet. Did you already post it somewhere? Thanks once again for the display.

Dawn Patrol, sorry i haven't got back to you earlier. Yes the 7th photo down is a picture of where the eagle use to be you can just make out
the upside down triangle. Bit hard to see in the photos, but the fraying or small hole on the right hand side is the right side corner of where the insignia
started, from there you can see the faint lines of the stitching.
I think the Luftwaffe buckle is a repro as it has a strange catch on the back, i bought the buckle & belt separately and put them together for the photoshoot with the shirt.
The helmet i will put up soon in a post of it's own as i think this also needs some discussion as I'm not 100% sure on this? Though i hope i'm wrong
Cheers
