wounded mg gunner north afrika 1942-43

Good evening, I present you briefly a sketch of the fact that will be my next model. A shooter MG at the end of the campaign of Africa. He wears the jacket of the model 1942.
I have to repaint him to give him more realism. Especially for a fighter of the desert he must be tanned.
When he will be ended I shall try to make a photo on white bottom. Having not enough pairs of boots I used my solitary boot and realized a wounded person.
The weapon is neutralized according to the current rules in France.
I hope that that will please you.
Cordially.

Excellent and adaptive use for the single boot - I like the whole thing! Watch out for those flies on the wound....

Yes fantastic set up Alexandre, i also had this thought to do a set up with my single boot as i also have a sit down mannequin stored away.
He has one leg up like yours but the other leg is straight on the ground and using my Nurse to stand beside him.
So he would be a recent POW with his wound being dressed by an allied nurse, if i could get a another female mannequin kneeling down that would be perfect big_smile

But i like the expression on your mannequin's face mad He looks like he's actually in real pain Oouchhh - Nice!

Regards
Stu

It's all good and well to sing along when the world goes along with a song, but the man
worth while is the one who can smile when everything goes dead wrong.

Too cool in every way! I especially love the brilliant use of a single boot! Bravo!
