Interesting Katana, is that a chromed handle?
Would that be period done or post war? I've never seen one like that before?

Thanks guys. Here is a U.S.Navy M-1941 Klewang pattern sword made by Milsco. Appx. 30,000 were made for the Dutch to send to the Netherland East Indies. If the sword was captured by the Japanese and the guard removed it it called a "Heio" Klewang. Rich A. in Pa.
