strange kragenbinde, opinions

Hi
please what kind about this kragenbinde, lacking the frontal button and its buttonhole?
Could it be a tropical version? for an open collar tunic? sudfront?

Ciao
Marco

Re: strange kragenbinde, opinions

Hi Marco,

I think that this Kragenbinde may have been designed for wear inside the collar of a M43 button up collar tropical Heer tunic.

Please refer to below photo, as you can see the number of buttons and positioning seem to match.

This is a Südfront uniform item.

Regards Markus

P.S. The seller hyperlinked below has had three similar Kragenbinde for sale in the past.  You can see that there are variations in design and
some are ink stamped.  The photo's of the one you have posted is a bit unusual as the ends protrude a bit longer past the
button holes on each extremity.
