Luftwaffe Fancy Engraved Table Spoon for JG27.

Just received this spoon in the mail this week. JG 27 was the main Luftwaffe fighter unit that served in the Western Desert. Due to the spoon being monochrome in color I can't tell which staffel this came from, but all units of JG 27 served in the desert at some time.  Barron  cool

Hey Rich! Sorry I'm so uncoordinated at posting photos with the site photo posting program! Took about an hour to post everything! sad  Barron

Re: Luftwaffe Fancy Engraved Table Spoon for JG27.

Hi Barron, nice Löffel (spoon), thanks for taking the time to post your new find smile

I think other potential contributors are also frustrated about the photo posting process - I still prefer having two AK forum webpages open
and use the first page to create the post and enter the information.

The second AK forum webpage I just use as the photo uploading page - once I've uploaded the photo
I just copy the link then switch to the first AK Forum page tab and paste.  Unfortunately it takes a while to get quicker, but as the
Germans say - Übung macht den Meister.

You've got the image sizes right - they are a good size and allow everyone to see the detail - good work cool

I know that there was a suggestion a while ago that something be prepared about creating postings and uploaded onto YouTube,
but it seems that this hasn't eventuated.

If it's any encouragement, plenty of people are looking at the Forum postings (33 views of this item in less than an hour and a half), so there you
go!

Regards Markus

Interesting find Barron, Thx for posting and agree with Markus about posting photos, you need to have two windows opened which makes it far easier

Cheers

Re: Luftwaffe Fancy Engraved Table Spoon for JG27.

Thank you all for the comments and encouragement! I have been having cut outs of the browser and it says " Oh Snap" and kills what I haven't saved! Other problem has still been reducing 3 meg photos to under 220k. Otherwise I have been catching on fairly well. Rich just caught me during the hour I was posting save by save!  Barron  cool

Hi Barron, yes I sometimes also will save a post half way through - especially if there are a few photos.  Unfortunately I've
been caught a couple of times when everything  I've typed has been lost for one reason or another!  smile

Thank you Rich! Found out, from my sister, that the Alcosa on the underside means type of metal spoon is made of. The spoon is very heavy! smile Barron
