Tropical eagle, what model is it?

Hi friends, would you recognize this kind of eagle hand sewn on my M40 tropical tunic (dated 42?). Early or late model?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Tropical eagle, what model is it?

Eagle good, possibly period applied, would need to see reverse/inside of eagle application to know for sure

More than likely a flip and stitch applied, machined across the top, flipped down then hand stitched finished

Re: Tropical eagle, what model is it?

Hi Steve,
breast eagle is all around hand stitched, i think originally applied.
What model is it? First, second or third model?
Regards,
Alex

Re: Tropical eagle, what model is it?

From your photos it looks to be period hand applied breast eagle,

As to the tunic style you need to post full frontal photo showing the complete tunic, also the stamping inside the tunic

My guess is you have an early 1st pattern tunic, photos would confirm that

Cheers
