German Volt/Ammeter with Leather Case

Just thought I would display this item as it would been heavily used to diagnose electrical problem in radios, telephones and other items. Earlier very similar versions were even used in WW1 surprisingly. This one is nicely dated 1934 with a ink waffenampt as well as a 1938 dated waffenampt on the case. It seams to be missing a cord but has all the metal parts included. Hope you all will enjoy!  cool   Barron

That is so awesome Barron. Very cool item. The eagle on the front looks like an imperial one?

Re: German Volt/Ammeter with Leather Case

Thanks for the views and comments friends! Yes, the eagle does look like the Imperial one. I don't know if there was a different Waffenampt (this one happens to be WaA 97) for electronic/electrical items like certain other specialty items such as pyrotechnic equipment (flare guns) or Luftwaffe gravity knives etc.? Some new interesting stuff to investigate! I have been curious about the different eagles for years  tongue  Barron

Re: German Volt/Ammeter with Leather Case

Here is another-headphones case, which I recently obtained with back strap missing but excellent early wartime markings.
