WW1 German Belts and Buckles

Thought I would bring out my WW1 buckles with leather tabs. The first is the brass buckle. Enjoy! smile  Barron

Re: WW1 German Belts and Buckles

Any markings on the leather tabs? Sometimes units and often manufacturer with date like WW2. They didn't seem to worry about unit markings in WW1.   Barron cool

Re: WW1 German Belts and Buckles

Finally got a chance to get back to this subject! Here are a few more buckles with no leather tabs but varying manufacturers and I have been told varying German states? Hope you will enjoy!   Barron

Re: WW1 German Belts and Buckles

Thank you friend! I have been interested in the differences in these items for a long time, plus they were once very inexpensive $15-$20 USD so I would pick up any I could find that were different! I used to like just the steel ones as there are too many reproductions until I read about them and got the tabbed example of a brass one! smile Still the easiest WW1 German item to acquire in the US from my experience  as they were easy to bring back!  Barron
